Spiritual and Professional Development Resources for Christian Schools
Equipping Educators to Invite Students into the Story and Life of God
How We Help
How do you fulfill your Christian school’s discipleship mission?
Do you invest in those who do the discipling?
Wellspring Christian Education helps leaders and teachers to grow spiritually, to grow in community, and to grow in their ability to incorporate faith within their schools and classrooms—so that young people will experience the riches of life in Christ through your school!
Wellspring is founded and directed by Dr. Kevin Taylor. Kevin holds a PhD in Religious Studies and an MEd in Curriculum and Instruction. For over two decades, he has served as a teacher, department chair, and program director in Christian schools in Guatemala and the United States.

“Kevin invested in our faculty at a key post-pandemic period of undiagnosed faculty mental health challenges. With humility and sensitivity, Kevin was able to help our faculty connect with themselves and with each other in a way that we weren't able to do without his gentle and objective help. During his two visits with us, he melded together classroom wisdom and Christian spiritual formation in such a way that educators with different backgrounds, different personalities, and different expertise could engage and get on the same page. He helped us reboot, and get on with our important work.”

"Kevin has the gift of bringing into sharp and expansive focus our calling: to love God and our neighbor as ourselves. This is a journey that includes intentional rest in the One who calls us--and finding joy in the beautiful, messy lives we find ourselves in."

“Kevin provided our faculty and staff with a time of focused self-reflection, spiritual anchoring, and professional goal setting as we entered into the school year. Our time was unifying, encouraging, and relevant in ways that had us returning to the themes of Kevin’s training over and over again throughout the year. Both professionally practical and spiritually enriching, Kevin’s leadership met a need specific to Christian educators that is very difficult to find elsewhere.”

“At the risk of sounding over-dramatic, this experience changed my faith in a really profound way. For the first time in my life, I was experiencing community in a way I have longed for but didn’t think was reality. I have now been in more homes of co-workers than homes of my fellow church members. I was, for the first time, studying God’s word with a group of people among whom I am seen and known and loved. I was taught about a gentle God who cares that I am hurting and isn’t always angry and disappointed with me. I also love how we were challenged to think deeply and discuss hard and personal things at times. I loved being challenged by what we were reading.”
